We had a lovely day at the farm. The weather was just right with interesting light clouds and a bit of sun. The host was just so welcoming. You can see images of the great location and some of the work-in-progress paintings/sketches.
Thanks to the fine weather, not too hot and not too cold, we had a record number of members turn up for the outdoor painting. Please see photos below.
Many thanks to the Elvetham Hotel Management for their kind permission to allow us to paint in their beautiful grounds. It was a glorious sunny day with many lovely views to draw and paint.
Basingstoke Canal was very busy and lively. There were a lot people with young children, also many boats up and down the canal. Only four members had turned up for the outdoor painting day but we all had a good day.
Thanks to the hotel management again for their kind permission for our members to paint at their beautiful grounds. We had a very productive start of this season today. We spent most of the day in the walled garden as the flowers are just too good to be missed.
